Consent Declaration

In connection with situations where I share materials such as my CV or other relevant personal documentation, I hereby give my informed consent for this information to be used solely for recruitment or professional purposes. The materials may include, but are not limited to, details of my qualifications, employment history, references, and other information necessary for assessing my suitability for a role or professional collaboration.

With regard to reference checks, I am happy to provide a list of contacts. However, due to the nature of these references, many of them are not easily found or contacted. In respect of their privacy, several have specifically requested that I contact them in advance before their names and details are shared further. I kindly request that this preference is respected, as it reflects their explicit wishes and my own approach to protecting personal boundaries.

Should a company or organisation receive any such materials from me, I consent to this information being stored securely for a period of up to twelve months from the date of receipt. The retention of this data must be strictly limited to recruitment or evaluation purposes and should be handled in full compliance with the current legal framework on data protection. Upon the end of this period, or at my written request, all personal data provided by me must be deleted or securely destroyed without delay.

This declaration is made in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679), the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven), the Danish Marketing Practices Act (Markedsføringsloven) in matters relating to personal data in commercial contexts, and relevant sections of Danish Employment Law concerning the processing and retention of applicant data. All handling of personal information must follow the legal principles of transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, confidentiality, and secure data management as outlined in these regulations.
